Good News Garage NH sponsors Car Donation Day

Celebrate TAX DAY the GOOD NEWS GARAGE way!

On April 15, 2010, Good News Garage NH is sponsoring a Car Donation Day. We will be open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm to receive your vehicle donations. Good News Garage accepts donated cars, vans, trucks, RVs, mopeds - even boats and all donations qualify for a tax deduction ranging from $500 to FAIR MARKET VALUE. Donors receive a generous tax deduction, free towing or pick-up and have the satisfaction of knowing that their car donation is helping a local family. If you stop by the Good News Garage NH office on April 15th, you will also be treated to homemade refreshments and receive a free flashlight key chain. Good News Garage is a volunteer site for Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service

Monday, January 18th - Good News Garage (Burlington, Vermont) is a volunteer site for Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. We will be cleaning donated vans. Volunteers will be meeting at Contois Auditorium in City Hall, Downtown Burlington at 11:30 a.m. Good News Garage will have vans at City Hall to pick up volunteers and bring them to and from our garage on Winooski Avenue. At 5:00 p.m. there will be a festive family dinner at City Hall. It should be a fun and rewarding MLK Day event.

Where should you donate your car?

Car Donation Drop-off Day is on December 30, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Good News Garage (Vermont) will accept any car, truck or van, with its Title,delivered to our 331 North Winooski Avenue location in Burlington. All donations are tax deductible.

Car Donation Drop-off Day is coming up!

I am still looking for volunteers to bake cookies to give to car donors when they drop off their car donation. Are there any bakers out there willing to lend a hand?

If you want to join us for the awarding of the Chevy Impalas that were given to us on the Oprah Winfrey Show, come down to the garage located at 331 North Winooski Avenue in Burlington. The ceremony will go from 10:45 AM - 11:30 AM. Hope you can make it!
